2018 SAG Awards Nominations

Hollywood awards season carries on with the 2018 SAG Awards on Sunday, Jan. 21. The show, known for recognizing actors for their work in TV and film, is presented by the Screen Actors Guild and airs at 8 p.m. on both TBS and TNT.

SAG Award winner and Oscar winner Morgan Freeman will receive the SAG Life Achievement Award.

The first-ever host of the 24th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be actress Kristen Bell (“The Good Place”).

2017 SAG Nominations


With 160,000 members, the SAG-Aftra union is the biggest in Hollywood, and it claims the biggest voting pool — about 120,000 people — of all the movie awards. Its nominees are strong predictors for the acting and best picture Oscar nominations.

Trailer: Clear History

Greg Mottola directs Clear History, written by Larry David, Alec Berg, David Mandel and Jeff Schaffer. Nathan Flomm (David) is a marketing executive at a start-up electric car company, who, after a petty argument with his boss (Jon Hamm), gives up his 10 percent of the shares. The company then goes on to make billions of dollars, leaving Nathan publicly humiliated, his life destroyed. Ten years later, he’s changed his name and moved to a small island off the coast of Massachusetts. All is well until his boss shows up on the island, and threatens to reveal his embarrassing past.
