Bob And Mary

Mary was fed up with Bob and that was that. She had taken care of all the arrangements for the big night, but it was as if Bob was not even there.

She’s the one who arranged his doctor’s appointments, his exercise classes, group therapy, and biannual manscaping, but he always seemed angry with her. He used to like her suggestions, so what changed?

But there was no time to worry. Tonight was Mary’s night…her party. The entertainment!

“Bobby Bobby, Bobby I’ve taken fashion design classes, make-up and hair classes, to become the woman I wanted to be…the woman you always wanted me to be. The time is now, my darling.”

Just then, what appeared to be three drag queens sashayed into the dressing room. Ms. Ima Latrine pointedly said, “Bob, you best put that wig on, girl. No one wants to see an old fat bald guy singing Bette Midler songs!”

As Bob put the wig on, Mary said in a menacing tone, “Goodnight Bob,” laughing all the way to the stage.

Yellow
by Mister D

  • I brightly radiate warmth wih a coolish mint breeze on young lovers in a crisp green field peppered with daisies.
  • I am the rust-colored corn as it stalks you when you hunger. The beauty of a newborn yolk before you toss it over.
  • I am the juandiced eye that beholds the pages of a book left blindly unprotected as it pales and flakes upon one’s touch.
  • I am the same sight discolored that reveals the aging of the skin like parchment paper so rough to the touch.
  • I’m lemon ripe and banana split…so sour and sweet. Yummy yikes. Yummy good. I am the golden crust wrapping a tart so bittersweet .
  • I am the yellowish canary as she sings her bluesy song.
  • I am the cowardly stain on the rags that you read. Who writes like this? This lily livered man spouting noise like black and white static.
  • I am curious. Ha Ha
  • I am yellow
