This is a hard year to predict wouldn’t be surprise to see Atonement win Best Picture by default.

Although I wouldn’t be surprised to see Michael Clayton win..Clooney is due and Hollywood loves him.

The the wary the cards fall it will be hard to beat the Coen Brothers. I think the Academy will spread the wealth.

In any case it is a year of violent films with what could result in low ratings since most of the nominees are independent films that catered to a specific audience. No blockbusters in the bunch and half of the nominated actors are fairly unknown.

Hope Bruce and Jon can pull off some good jokes.

Love,
Miss Anita Ward

The 1st Annual Mister D’s Grammy Awards Predictions! (With Miss Anita Award-Disclaimer!)

Gepost door The Divine Mister D op 10/02/2008
Toegevoegd onder: Awards Shows, Music

Mister D: Welcome to the 1st Annual Mister D’s Grammy Predictions with my faithful companion and derider, Anita Award-Disclaimer. And believe me Anita has the perfect family name for she needs a disclaimer for everything. Supposedly her parents “Disclaimed” her. That’s why I like to keep her close under my “rainbow sleeve.”

Anyway, enough about that bitch. Although she would say her predictions are right on since she trances herself into the heads of the Grammy committee, I don’t buy it. I’ve never seen her eyes roll up while dusting around the house, but I swear I’ve seen her legs roll up when sticking out from under the house….whatvever, it was scary mind you.

But what does this have to do with the Grammy’s…nothing! But I thought maybe it would give you a little insight into our relationship. Since Anita thinks all these prediction article are about her, I’ll put them in “Bold Letters” and mine in “Bold Italics” If we should agree, look for a cute little “***” Anita gave up after a certain point…her head couldn’t contain all the information that was given to her. The ghosts of Grammy’s past threatened her, so she says! Anyway,

Everybody enjoy the night, perfomances, and presenters

Much love, Mister D

*Anita Disclaimer: These are not who I think will win, it’s how I think the Grammy Committee will vote!
