Guitar Lessons

Had my first guitar lesson this past Thursday. It only took me 30 years to make the appointment. What was I so afraid of? I have a feeling I will catch on quite quickly if I practice everyday for 45 minutes…like I was told to do.

My teacher’s name is Shane Lamb. Very nice guy in his mid-30′s. He has a group called Bliss formed with his partner, Lisa Briggs. Such a cute looking couple. Their music is in the folk, pop, alternative mode…a cross between Tom Petty and The Byrds. Nice sound. Check out their site: Bliss

Anyway, I have a bunch of chords and techniques to get acquainted with before my next session. The first song I’m to learn: The Beatles’ Eight Days A Week

Wish me luck, my friends!
